Scholarship Committee




FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:


Rdevia announces the 2022 Scholarship Committee has officially concluded planning for the upcoming 2023 HBCU Scholarship Season during which, Rdevia will offer more than $5,000 in scholarship awards to current and future HBCU Students.


The 2022 Scholarship Committee was appointed to help plan the 2023 HBCU Scholarship Season by reviewing scholarship guidelines and making recommendations to the application process. Rdevia remains committed to creating a scholarship experience that gives all students an equitable opportunity at receiving much needed assistance to pay for their college education. Thanks to the 2022 Committee, Rdevia is prepared to offer a more transparent and streamlined application process for the 2023 HBCU Scholarship Season.


The 2022 Scholarship Committee consisted of:

The 2023 HBCU Scholarship Season will consist of the following renewed awards:

  • $500 - E. Renee Posey, Ed.D., Award of Excellence

  • $250 - Jarrod D. Benjamin Emerging Leaders Scholarship (Sophomore)

  • $500 - Jarrod D. Benjamin Emerging Leaders Scholarship (Junior)

  • $1,000 - Jarrod D. Benjamin Emerging Leaders Scholarship (Senior)

The 2023 HBCU Scholarship Season will also present two new awards:

  • $1,000 - Epic HBCU Journey Distance Learning Scholarship

  • $2,000 - Lion Greatness Scholarship


Scholarship details will be announced on December 1, 2022. Applications will open on December 22, 2022 and close February 22, 2023. Winners will be announced and recognized on April 1, 2023 at Rdevia's 3rd Annual Dew in the Morning presented by Peerspace.

Students are encouraged to complete an Interest Form to receive exclusive updates on HBCU Scholarships. Anyone interested volunteering as a Scholarship Judge is also encouraged to completed an Interest Form.
