HBCU Day of Prayer 2023

Rdevia Presents HBCU Day of Prayer 2023, an Auxiliary Event of the National HBCU Week Conference, in Collaboration with the White House Initiative on Advancing Education Equity. [USA] – Rdevia is proud to announce the debut of HBCU Day of Prayer 2023, a momentous virtual ceremony presented in collaboration with the White House Initiative on Advancing Education Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunities through Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This year's program is a recognized auxiliary event of the National HBCU Week Conference, and it promises to be an inspirational and unifying experience for all. View the program at bit.ly/pray4hbcus HBCU Day of Prayer has become an annual tradition, bringing together HBCU Chaplains and religious leaders to pray for students, alumni, faculty, staff, and supporters of HBCUs. This heartfelt ceremony pays homage to the foundation of prayer upon which HBCUs were founded, while also looking forward to a better and brighter future. This year, we will hear prayers from esteemed Chaplains representing the following HBCUs:

  • Rev. Herbert Brisbon III, M.Div., Dillard University

  • Rev. Jacob Cogman, M.Div., Howard University

  • Rev. Kevin Kosh Jr., Associate Visitor of Rdevia

  • Rev. Michele Morton, Tennessee State University

  • Rev. Leon Parker III, M.Div., Miles College

  • Rev. Joseph Scrivner, Ph.D., Stillman College

Their powerful words and spiritual insights will undoubtedly uplift and inspire viewers, reinforcing the vital role that HBCUs play in our communities and nation.
