Rdevia Presents the 2025 Virtual Oratorical Contest
Calling All Future HBCU Students: Showcase Your Oratorical Talent and Win $100!
[Miami, FL] – Rdevia is proud to announce the launch of the 2025 Virtual Oratorical Contest, an exciting opportunity for high school seniors committed to attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) upon graduation. This competition aims to inspire the next generation of HBCU leaders by challenging them to engage in thoughtful reflection and public speaking.
This competition asks students a simple question: "If you could have dinner with any current HBCU president, who would it be and why?"
Participants must submit a 2-minute maximum video response addressing this prompt. The competition winner will receive a $100 prize and recognition from Rdevia for their outstanding oratorical skills.
Submission Guidelines:
Videos must be emailed to info@rdevia.org as a YouTube link, Google Drive link, Box link, or WeTransfer link.
The deadline for submission is February 28, 2025.
Submissions should be clear, well-articulated, and engaging.
Submissions will be evaluated based on these guidelines.
Why Participate? This oratorical contest provides an excellent platform for students to practice conducting research, showcase their communication skills, and connect with the HBCU community. Public speaking is a critical skill for success in college and beyond, and this contest offers participants a unique chance to refine their abilities.
