Opportunities for involvement.
At Rdevia, we believe in the power of people. The work we do is made possible by people who care about legacy, education, and making a real difference. You, too, can be one of those people.
Commission on HBCU Scholarships, Awards, and Community Engagement
This is where opportunity meets recognition. This commission helps open doors for HBCU students through scholarships and shines a spotlight on alumni and advocates doing meaningful work. Members review scholarship applications, evaluate award nominations, and interview candidates.
This group is for:
-
Members of the general public
-
Community leaders with or without HBCU ties
Commission on HBCU Student Success, Alumni Relations, and Campus Engagement
This is the builders’ table. This commission partners directly with HBCU campuses to create hands-on learning experiences for students and strong networking pathways for alumni. Members design experiential learning opportunities, select alumni mentors and facilitators, and help identify campuses that can benefit most from Rdevia’s programs.
This group is for:
-
HBCU alumni
-
Faculty, staff, and education practitioners (HBCU and non-HBCU)
-
Industry and corporate leaders
Regional Councils
Regional Councils take the mission off the screen and into the streets—in the best way. These leaders activate Rdevia locally by organizing programs, hosting events, engaging community partners, and amplifying our fundraising and social campaigns. This is where ideas turn into action close to home.
This group is for:
-
Community leaders, organizers, and alumni with strong relationships
-
Professionals interested in hosting or supporting in-person programs
