On March 5, 2023: We Turn 8!

It's Our Birthday!
On March 5, 2025: We Turn 10!
It has taken us 9 years to get to this exact moment and we've certainly enjoyed the trip. Can you believe we started this movement by selling fried chicken and hamburgers? Yep, and though we no longer host food sales to raise money, we still remain just as close-knit!

Thank you for helping us keep this movement alive. Rdevia would and could not exist with the generous support of those who support our mission.

We love yall, always and forever.

From then to now . . .
On March 5, 2015, on a Greyhound bus somewhere between Tallahassee and Miami, FL, a movement was born. Today, that movement has grown from a student club at Florida Memorial University into Rdevia, a public charitable nonprofit with supporters from coast-to-coast and abroad.

Sir Marquise M. McGriff, M.A., and Madam Breana McBride are returning from spending Spring Break in Tallahassee, FL, when he envisions a movement that unites students and non-students to unite and save HBCUs. Today, Marquise continues to lead the Organization as Founder with Breana's unwavering support as the Organization's Founding Historian.
The Organization is registered with the Florida Secretary of State and becomes a legal entity. The Organization's original mission as delineated in Her Articles of Incorporation is: "To assure that anyone and everyone who wants to receive an education form a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) has the opportunity to do so, while enriching the lives and experiences of current students."
The Organization first effective date. Per Her Articles of Incorporation, June 1, 2015 was designated as the first effective date and consequently, the first day of the first Fiscal Year which effectively ran from June 1, 2015 until May 31, 2016. We continue to observe this same Fiscal Year even today.
