The Rdevia Board of Visitors is the largest of our 3 Governing Bodies and is the perfect place for HBCU Advocates to serve and do something that really makes a difference in the lives of HBCU Prospects, Students, and Graduates.

Our Visitors are our biggest cheerleaders and supporters! All Visitors are expected to raise awareness of our cause, rally support, and contribute to our mission. Visitors will also expected to serve on committees, participate in programs, promote our services, and attend virtual meetings throughout the year. Visitors initially serve for a two-year term as an Associate Visitor. After completing the initial term, Associate Visitors are eligible for renewal, Emeritus Status, Board Offices, and Corporation Trusteeship.

TO JOIN THE BOARD:

  • You must have a demonstrated commitment to Education Access, Racial Equity, and Social Justice. 

  • You do not have to be an HBCU Graduate to serve on the Rdevia Board of Visitors but you must care about HBCUs.

  • You must be nominated by a Presiding Visitor or Visitor Emeritus.

 

You may express interest in being nominated by completing an Interest Form. We only review interest and make nominations during certain times of the year but you may express interest at any time.
