WHO WE ARE

Rdevia was founded as a student organization on March 5, 2015. Today, we have Ordevians (Members), Leaders, and Friends (Donors, Partners, and Sponsors) in 20 States plus China, Ghana, and the United Kingdom.

WHAT WE DO

Rdevia provides opportunities and resources to HBCU Prospects, Students, Graduates, and Professionals defined as:

  • HBCU Prospects - Current high school seniors who want to go to an HBCU.

  • HBCU Students - Current students who attend an HBCU as recognized by the White House Initiative on HBCUs.

  • HBCU Graduates - Any person who graduated with an associate, bachelor, or advanced degree from an HBCU.

  • HBCU Professionals - Any person who works at an HBCU.

WHAT WE WANT

We want HBCUs to keep rising.

We want our people to keep thriving.

We want you to join us in making it happen.

Mission

We empower marginalized communities through an education that embraces who they are and who they can become.

Vision

We dream of a learned society of people who value one another and the roles we all play in making the world a better place.

HBCUs BREAK BARRIERS

"[HBCUs] still have an outsize role in preparing students to meet urgent national priorities in STEM fields, in filling teaching jobs, and in uplifting boys and men of color."

Arne Duncan, 2014

Former U.S. Secretary of Education
